F&K Designs Owners: ​

F&K Designs is all about creativity and products you will not likely find anywhere else. We pride ourselves in originality and not copying what others before us have created. Each and every item we make is made one at a time by either Kristina or Fred. No mass production and no cookie cutter manufacturing, just good old fashioned craftmenship and a lot of attention paid to details and customer service.

From raw materials  to final product, we do it all. Our Sister company, Busy Beaver Lumber, LLC turns logs into the lumber that we use in all of our products. When it comes to embroidery, we have the ability to create custom images to meet your exacting needs. Our CNC machine and Epilog laser can cut custom parts or engrave your images or wording into thousands of items.

We are always looking for more retail shops and vendors to resell our products and welcome you to inquire about that option as well. Our products sell very well as festivals and crafts fairs and are 100% made by us. We welcome any orders, big or small.

ABOUT US PERSONALLY:

We've been in business for more than 17 years and are a key member of our local community, with everyday regulars and new customers coming back time after time and numbering in the thousands of customers. 

 

Together we have over 60 years of woodworking experience, 18+ years of Embroidery experience, and 17+ years experience in the generation of signs, banners, and vehicle graphics. Our shop is filled with state of the art, modern equipment.

We have raised 5 daughters and have 10 Grand Children, 9 girls and 1 boy. Between Kristina and I, We enjoy Woodworking, target shooting, camping, traveling, coin collecting, metal detecting, sewing, crafts, and model trains.

Aside from owning F&K Designs, we also own Busy Beaver Lumber, Strauss Auctions and Sales, plus several commercial real estate properties under the Strauss Investments and Kendallville Event and Activity Center names. We are a licensed Auctioneer in the state of Indiana and own an acution hall in Kendallville Indiana.
